Pricing differences of Batteries, West vs East Coast!

I've seen high prices bantered about in our group for house batteries, with most of the dealers being located out west.
Here in Port Richey Florida, Trojan T-105's can be bought for $89.95 installed
And the AGM's of equivalent dimentional size to the T-105 Trojans are just $189.95 each. Extremely reasonable compared to the other prices I've seen! I don't know why such price differences in battery prices compared to the west coast!
I personally like the idea of having peace of mind by not having to check the batteries water levels and those that still have the old Magnatek Converters, not having your batteries "Boil Over", but I do believe you would need to upgrade to a better converter like a Xantrex converter with Charge Wizard to accomodate the upgrade to the AGM Batteries.
The Trojan's and AGM's are available at the low prices stated before at
West Florida Battery, 7932 US Hwy 19 in Port Richey, Florida 34668, 727-849-8224.

They can also upgrade your battery cables to a heavier gauge!

I just purchased two golf cart batteries at the Reno, NV Costco for $70 each.  Will be installing them tomorrow.  They are made by Interstate and rated for 220 AH.  FWIW: Jack

I can't speak for pricing on Interstate Batteries but it was the Trojan's that have been discussed a lot in our group especially since they were standard factory installed equipment in LD units.
The AMG's have been discussed a lot as an upgrade to the Trojans. With the pricing I have read about, these prices seemed extremely low for these brands!
I refer this retailer as most of us do with Costco or Sam's Club so that any members able to take advantage of this low pricing can.
By the way, I am in no way associated with this retailer anymore than I am with Sam's Club or Costco...
Wait a minute! I am a "member" of Sam's Club so maybe that would eliminate me from referring them??

Sounds like another reason besides the snow to head to Florida!!
This seems to not be just an east/west thing as the cheapest I could find
