It was much more than adequate in temps down to freezing. The heat pump always kept the interior very comfortable with very little effort. Below that, the propane or a space heater worked fine. When we ordered the Born Free we specified that there be a heat pump. They were unaware of it's existence, but were willing to do it. It was the first they had ever installed in a new coach. I wouldn't have anything else. When ordering the LD I again asked for the heat pump explaining our previous experiences and they said it would be considered.
