Oh, I use Cute PPDF, works great.
but I was talking about going FROM a PDF file back to Word, so the files can be edited.
There's a good converter but I can't think of the name...danged CRS! Mary

I use Deskunpdf by Docudesk (www.docudesk.com) to convert pdf to Word but is not a free program.

I'm not sure why you need another converter, why make it so difficult and complicated.  I've changed several PDF files to Word without any other converter. Just copy any pdf file and paste it into Word.  You can then do all the editing, croping, amendments, or whatever word can do.
