In the past there has been some discussion about cleaning the screens in the vents with Fantastic Fans.  I think MaxxAir, which some prefer, have an easier time removing their screens for cleaning, but we already have Fantastic Fans, so that's what we have to deal with.

So for close to five years, we've been unscrewing the screens for cleaning.
Today at Camping World, we found replacement screens that simply push in and pop out.  Have these been discussed before?  If so I apologize, but we've never seen them.
We bought four (they come two to a pack for $15) and they work just as described, push right in and pull right out, yet they seem secure.
Just thought these might be of some interest to others with Fantastic Fans in their ceilings

Shortly after getting our fan years ago, I solved the problem by installing 6 window screen retainers around the screen circumference. They screw in easily, and the screen can be removed by twisting each 1/4 turn - takes just a few seconds to remove and re-install, and using the original screen. Available cheap at any hardware store.

Must be something new.
http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/product/fan-tastic-popn-lock-screen/7263 We recently walk though a CW and did not see them.
I know I would clean then a lot more often if they wee easier to R&R.
Thanks for the heads up.

We have the EZ/Maxx screen on our Fantastic Fan...used to sold by Camping World, but I notice it's no longer on their website.

Our 2008 model had fantastic fans with the pop=out screens.  It's a new feature for them.

--- The pop-out screen discussion came up back in March; see message #100902.  ;-)  I wouldn't know if CW carries these, but FF has a “Where to Buy” link (Adventure RV has the 2-pack for $12.99; don’t know shipping costs.) on this page:

Well, Gosh, I wish I would have learned about that five years ago!
I thought I had followed all the threads about cleaning the screens, but that one got right by me.
Sorry, Kate, not sure I ever posted it before. I may have missed the previous discussions about this issue. Still, the pop-in screens may be even easier.
