Andy as an 84 year old non literate computer guy what easily managed malware protection would you recommend for an Apple Mac Book with a Snow Leopard operating system.
I too also missed the daily postings and am so glad they are back thank you for your continuing efforts.

Before this turns into a thread, let me say that we're really off topic here, and a better place to discuss this kind of information is a site like MacFixIt or MacInTouch.
Quick answer: iAntivirus (http://www.iantivirus.com/>) is very easily managed--once it's installed, you really don't have to do anything except click "OK" when it presents a report from one of its periodic automatic scans. And it costs nothing. From what I've read, iAntivirus is effective against the few dozen pieces of known Mac malware, and it updates itself regularly. As Monti pointed out, it doesn't protect against the 850,000+ Windows malware varieties, but that's not your problem.
