T-105's are 6v and are connected in series in an LD to get 12v, so individual T-105 amp-hr's can be added only for a 6v system with T-105's in parallel. Our AGM's are 12v connected in parallel so their individual amp-hrs add in a 12v system like our RB's. I don't have the amp-hrs of a T-105 close at hand but I'm sure the 510 amp-hrs of our two AGM's substantially exceed that of two T-105's.
No, the two Lifeline AGM's do not fit in the same place as the T-105's once did. They are too large to do so. Along with a 1300 watt Inverter, both AGM's are under the dinette seat next to the now empty T-105 battery compartment of our 1997 RB. I'm pleased to report the Inverter/AGM's do power the microwave. (The original owner of our RB had the factory wire the Inverter to power all 7 120v outlets.)

I went with AGM's because I didn't like to have bother about water with the T-105's as I did in our 2003 MB and because my goal is to simplify my life (aka "lazy" ?). Also because our RB does not have a generator (optional in '97), the T-105's were shot when we bought our RB, and two AGM's allow longer boondocking than two T-105's (with the able battery management of our Link Pro).

The four solar panels on our MB top off the AGM's every day here in sunny El Centro, CA while the LD is in storage with only "phantom DC loads" on the batteries. I'll soon add a Trik-L-Start to complete the picture.

BTW, we have a nice cover for a 26.5 LD here near El Centro, CA at Sunbeam Lake RV Resort - www. SunbeamLake.com - Free for the asking.
(Simplify also means get rid of stuff we don't need.)

best, paul

--- AM Solar installed two GPL-4CT Lifeline AGMs in the battery compartment of my 2003 TK; the GPL-4CTs replaced the original T-105s, fit without a problem in the existing space, and have "headroom" to spare.  The GPL-6CT are taller; see the specs (and find which will work for your application) for all Lifeline deep cycle RV batteries on this page:

Right. I did not mean to imply NO Lifeline could fit into an LD's battery compartment, just that OURS cannot.

I looked into GPL-4CT Lifeline AGM's at one point but wanted more amp-hrs than that offered by 6v AGM's that fit into an LD's battery compartment.
