Could not find this info in the manual. If it's like most valve covers, it is sealed by a gasket, so torque is low. This also means as the gasket compresses with time and heat, the hold-downs loosen. On most cars, it is around 100 inch-lbs. In general, tighten a smidge, then fix with Loctite, barring better specs.Steve

Also, do you put it on the threads and let it dry a bit first before screwing it or not?Jim C

Loctite thread locker is anerobic, curing in the absence of oxygen. So there's no need to let it dry before assembling. Those pre-thread locked screws, we've seen, use a different sort of thread locker.bumper
