We had the large side window of our 1994 22' Lazy Daze broken, coutesy of a 13 yo boy and rather large rock.  The stationary portion not the slide by. Anyone have experience with this?  Thanks.

Yes, . . . the young lad should receive a sound spanking and be made to pay for the broken window.

We had a window replaced last year.  We took the LD to the company that makes the windows for LD.  They are a short distance from the factory.  If that is not feasible, you might call the glass company and ask for suggestions.  You can call LD to get their phone number.

Hehr Window in LA has been the supplier from at least 2003 and maybe earlier.  Take Al's advice and call the factory.

The company in Pomona that has the special glass (7 or 9% bronze tint) is:

NAGCO Glass 243 E. Holt Av.
Pomona, Ca.

Nagco replaced a side slider last January - great service - here's part of my post:
. . . after a quick call to Nagco from the desert that am for a noon appointment to replace a rear slider that we surmise started cracking after someone nodded off while reading with the window half open and hit back of their head right where the upright for the stationary window was (that make sense?).
Eddie, the installer, said the windows can also crack from heat/cold and stress when entering steep driveways.
Anyway, the staff and service were great.  Took about 1-1/2 hrs while I read and cats leashed to door grab so they could go in, out and up to cabover.  They removed glass from frame and used as a template.  Cost was $233.87, and they're just minutes from Mothership.

One would have to find out about the availability of the RV window glass replacement service from an "outside source"; there sure is no way to tell from Nagco's website!

Good observation, Joan.  Was curious so googled "Nagco glass replacement window" and got:
"Nagco Glass specializes in Auto and Residential Glass products. We have Doors, sliders, vertical, and framed windows. We take care of everything from coming" as a subheading under main listing, but clicking gave me "page not found."
So, called Nagco to checkout and learned site being updated, but indeed they did forget to mention auto/RV glass replacement on main site.  Hopefully will be corrected soon.

They thanks us collectively!
