Leaky shower: advice anyone?
Yahoo Message Number: 105668
Here's what happened in our '01 MB on our last outing: The shower started leaking a substantial flow where the hose attaches at the bottom.

Leak lets pumped water flow out at the attaching end of the ferule under the shower faucets.  Only when I pull the shower plunger up.

About half the water goes out the bottom of the fixture.
Shaking the plunger a lot hasn't helped.  It feels nice and solid. No leak at all when the plunger is down.

Suggestions any one?

John

John,
I had a similar problem with our 2001 RB plastic shower faucet a couple of years ago.  After messing around with it for a while, I ended up replacing the entire shower faucet with an exact replacement which I found at a local RV sales/repair facility.  It only cost about $27 and was fairly easy to replace.
