Don Malpas wrote in Message 94638 about custom cut Reflictix panels for the cab windows.  I would like to get some.  Don, where did you have these custom cut?  Any other ideas for the side cab windows would be appreciated.  I just took down the curtains.  Thank you in advance.

Monica,

Lowe's sells rolls of Reflectix.
Make paper patterns. Add a bit more than half an inch to each dimension, as the Reflectix tends to "shrink" some with UV exposure over time.
Then sew some cloth edging around the panels if you want them to be really classy (g).

all the best,

I custom cut them with a ordinary pair of scissors.
Just measure and cut for the vents.
Hint for vent covers, cut a diagonal slit for the open/close knob.
For the cab windows trace the outline on 'butcher paper" and transfer to the Reflictix.
I took George's idea to spray paint the cab window covers white on the outside and beige on the inside to match the rig colors.
Don't forget to do the skylight in the bath, it lets a lot of cold in.

I store both Reflictix and LD supplied foam covers behind the curb side couch back. The cab window covers store in folded cab bed, which we do not use.

We dropped down to 6,400 feet today, from 9,700 so the vent covers will be stored.

Cheers, Don
