delivery confirmation v. tracking numbers

Actually Linda,
Like you I thought they were the same thing too when I requested the buyer return the product with a tracking number. As it turns out tracking numbers apply to Express Mail and he paid $32 postage when what I meant was track and confirm which would have been $8.50 so no they are not the same thing.

If you look at the track and confirm website: http://www.usps.com/shipping/trackandconfirm.htm?from=global_header&page=trackandconfirm you will see tracking in the bottom left corner and it applies to Express mail for domestic.

Wow!  Priority Mail tracking isn't nearly that expensive!!!  I don't recall exactly what it is, but I think it's less than $1.
