Resealing of ladder supports and skylight frames on roof...

Has anyone had any experience using a (10 Year Rated) white elastomeric paint like Cool Seal, same as used on the metal roofs of Mobile Homes? Just to seal around the ladder and skylight entry points on the roof? I'm not talking about seams here but rather entry points where water could still penetrate the aluminum roof?
Would there be any reason not to use this type of elastomeric paint, stretches up to 550% of it's original size...

Would appreciate any and all comments...

Maybe you missed my earlier posting. I used it on our old LD.
The stuff does not seal that well will peel after a few years. I would not use it again.
I would use polyurethane sealant to reseal the vent and maybe the ladder.
The Factory uses butyl putty tape to seal the ladder supports.
If you are going to reseal the ladder supports, the proper way would be to remove each support, clean under it and then reseal with either a putty or polyurethane.
The putty is a lot cleaner and easier to work with.
