Dinosaur Replacement Board Report for Dometic Reefer

Our Dometic reefer wasn't working properly. Had the local RV repair shop look at it twice which resulted in replacing some electrical wiring. Tech asked if the rig had been hit by lightning or if it had had some kind of electrical surge. I said not that I knew of. Check light kept coming on during gas operation.
I did some on-line research on non-Dometic computer boards and came across the Dinosaur brand based on a thread I found on an Airstream owners site. The Airstream thread also talked about electrical surges or lightning.
Ordered and replaced Dometic board with Dinosaur. Don't ask but even though Dinosaur sent very good instructions, I still managed to get the wiring just a tad mixed up....OK, enough so it wouldn't run. So I called Dinosaur and a tech talked me through redoing the wiring. Turns out 6 of the 10 wires were each off one spot. Once those were fixed, no more check light issues.
Bottom line....would recommend a Dinosaur board if you have to replace your Dometic computer board. Good product and I received great technical support from the company. What more can you ask for?
