The diesel engine was larger, the rig came with a propane generator (very inefficient) with it's own dedicated propane tank...all of which took away from CCC. Also, if I'm not mistaken, the Powerstroke engine in the E-series chassis did not come with the turbo charger, making it less powerful (then there's the fact that the Powerstroke engine is less fuel efficient that either the Duramax or the Cummins). We've always had diesel engines in our pickups that we use to tow fifth wheels with, but I would not have ordered the Lazy Daze with the diesel for the above reasons.Linda Hylton http://map.datastormusers.com/user1.cfm?user=1167 http://earl-linda.blogspot.com/

As most RV's are driven relatively few miles, there were few motivating reasons.Ken Sannwannabe in SoCal

Thanks for the correction, Ken. I knew there was something the diesel engine on the E-series chassis didn't have! ;-)Linda Hylton http://map.datastormusers.com/user1.cfm?user=1167 http://earl-linda.blogspot.com/
