Air Conditioner filter and filter grate for Dometic Penguin, 2001 MB

Does anyone know where I can find replacement filters for the Dometic Penguin AC unit found on our 2001 MB?
 It was probably a matter of time. Tonight when I ran water through one of the filters, the filter ripped.
 As a bonus, do you know where to get replacement grates. The four tabs on ours are in poor shape and the grates are mostly being held up by a tight fit.
 I have a paper towel on top of the tears as a quick fix which got me thinking, can I just find some filter material? Any suggestions?
 Recently visited the factory and also went to Dometic's website, neither of which were of much help.

Hi Gary -
 I ordered the filters from Camping World, and purchased an extra, just in case.  I was able to order a new outside roof shroud from a small RV repair/sales/store, which was a much better fit than what I would have gotten through CW.  Try googling RV salvage, or calling Dometic directly on the inside grates.

Gary and Stacy,
 The filter material is as close as your local hardware store or Wal-Mart. It's the same flimsy plastic foam stuff as the filter material used in window air conditioners.  Use your original filter as a pattern to cut out several replacements.  Be sure to cut out the notches for the grid clips, as well. I used wire twist ties in a couple of spots to hold the filter material to the plastic grid, to prevent the filter from occasionally being sucked up into the A/C fan.

Gary and Stacy,
I should qualify my earlier recommendation for the replacement filter material.  The window air conditioner filter material worked just fine in our '02 30TB's A/C.  I don't know if that is the same A/C as in the '01 MB.  My guess is that they're similar, but certainly check before buying any.  The suggestion on where to find the replacement filter material came from an RV supply store.

I went ahead and called the factory and ordered 4 filters and 2 grates.
 Not the best experience considering I had the model number and serial number as recorded by Lazy Daze on my manual. The Dometic Rep kept asking detailed questions to narrow down what I needed.
 The good news is that I now have 4 filters, 2 to replace the old ones and a couple of backups.
 If I have the time to be put on hold, I'll call tomorrow to find out why the shipment didn't include the 2 grates. I assume they aren't coming since they billed my credit card less the price of the grates.

Land O'Goshen!  They billed your CREDIT CARD??? I always thought it was cash or check at the factory.

 There must be a mistake!  This would make ordering repair parts much too easy. Besides, I like the old fashion hand written receipt with a carbon copy.

 I may be wrong, but I think Gary/Stacy were talking about ordering parts from Dometic, not from Lazy Daze.
