Broken Refrigerator Latch July 05, 2009, 07:32:01 pm Yahoo Message Number: 103714This past week I've read numerous messages concerning how to keep the refer door "cracked open" when not in use. I must be doing something wrong as I cannot find one message to that effect. Anyway, if you're the one having the problem, email me and I'll send detailed pictures of a simple, no cost, reliable fix for your refer door.

Try searching the Techsnoz group, Richard--that's where the thread you're talking about is. :-)Andy Baird http://www.andybaird.com/travels/

If the question is "how do you keep the ref. door cracked open when the ref. is not in use", say when the RV is in storage, here is my very low tech. method. My ref. is 15" deep. I lay a 16" long stick on the bottom of the ref. between the two removable bins. The stick can't fall out and the door simply cannot shut. There must be more complex ways to do this, but I haven't found any good ones yet.Ed
