Well, Buddy, there is no repository for LD parts since most of the mechanical devices are national brands of some sort.  Sounds like you need to call some RV dealers/repair shops around Porterville and ask advice on where to look for a refer and a roof a/c.  Both items should be local purchases because of weight.  And use the Internet to search for used items you need.  I'd start with a few local phone calls; I'll bet you'll get some tips that way.

While it's true that the appliances are all standard RV brands (Shurflo, Fan-Tastic, Dometic, Duotherm, SeaLand, etc.)--and of course the chassis is made by Chevy or Ford--there *is* a repository for coach-specific parts: the Lazy Daze factory. If you can't find what you need anywhere else, it's worth giving them a call at 909-627-1219.
It sounds as though Buddy needs appliances rather than coachwork, though, and your advice is spot-on for things like that: see an RV shop. RV  air conditioners, for example, are standard items, designed to fit a standard 14" square vent opening, so he'll have plenty of choices from companies like Duotherm and Coleman that make RV A/Cs.
