Lazy Daze Kodiak 32' The sub title of the article reads..."Can there be life without slides?" Answer, "absolutely". For the avid readers of this group there will be no surprises in the piece. The author, Eileen Hubbard, speaks well of the family-owned, 53 year old business and there reputation of building one of the best Class C in the business. No slides, no problem. She walks through the chassis, maximum livability, the exterior features and the ..."one piece, painted aluminum roof with a non skid surface." on the non-skid part. I won't list the points of the rest of her article as those that have followed the thread on previous messages here know already of what she spoke about.She found missing leveling jacks.There was no road test. All in all much of the piece could have been listed directly from the LD web site. Nothing new here but a couple of nice new pictures which accompany most of the same framing as those on the web. PS Perhaps most importantly as the author states ... "After taking a tour through this motorhome-and experiencing the excellent fit and finish throughout-it's easy to see why Lazy Daze has built a cult following with RVers who appreciate quality over quantity. Lasty ..."the motorhome's resale value, which is one of the highest in the business."Smitty

For many years the factory has applied paint that's textured to help prevent slipping when walking on the roof. I have spent many hours on top of our LDs, tending to the kayaks, antennas, solar panels, etc; I find the roof is very slippery when wet, even with anti-slip paint. I added strips of 3M "Safety Walk" anti-slip tape over the roof joists, placed like stepping stones, for another layer of safety. http://www.floormat.com/anti-slip/safetywalk.html> Place the strips where you naturally want to step, especially when cleaning the solar panels. http://www.flickr.com/photos/lwade/1416467930/in/set-72157602095130748/>Larry
