Question for those with MB models
Yahoo Message Number: 103271
I was reviewing past posts comparing the different models in the 26.5 lengths and read one post where an RB owner preferred his model over the MB for a reason that I had not heard.  He stated that when the rear couches are closed off for privacy in the MB, the AC is blocked from cooling that area.  This situation would not be a problem for those that are solo and can leave the area open for the AC like Andy.  Has anyone in the group found this to be an issue?

Gary:
We have a MB and live in it 6-7 months a year...if we close off the back we use the bathroom door and there is a cut at the top of that door which allows the cool air to flow through.
We don't close off the back except for getting dressed if we've front all "open" in terms of window shades, etc., and maybe a couple of times when one of us wanted to sleep early and the other wanted to stay up and read/use the computer.
We've never deployed the privacy panel to close off the lounge at the ends of the sofas (and I'd love to ditch it).

Gary,
We also use the bathroom door for privacy when needed.  We rarely use the curtain, but if you wanted to you could just not close it all the way.  You would get your cool air and good privacy still.  Because the curtain comes from the closet side and latches to the bathroom side, if you left a couple inch gap, nobody would be able to see a whole lot because of the angle they would be looking from.  If you look at the floor plan, you will see what I am talking about.
But, we have never had a problem with lack of cooling in the back with the a/c on.

Hope that helps.

Gary, I might also add that closing the door also reduces the noise level from the AC and reduce the amount of direct draft, especially while sleeping, since the air flow is near the ceiling.
