Polliwog Has New Shoes

My '04 26.5MB has six new Michelin LTX M/S tires. The ones removed had 50,000 miles accumulated and 7/32 of tread left. I don't feel badly about losing that much tread wear because I'm not conscientious about covering the front tires and Polliwog sits in the Florida sun nearly all winter and in the summer sun up north. There didn't seem to be any apparent sidewall cracking or other U/V damage but I'd rather be conservative about tires than suffer a blowout on the road.
Happily, the front left slapping sound I complained about in an earlier post is gone and the tech said it was the result of bad tread cupping. I could easily see the wave-shaped wear pattern in the center treads of both front tires. The rig's been aligned twice.
I have weighed my rig, each individual tire, regularly (I'm around 12,500) and air the tires according to the Michelin or LD chart, whichever is more conservative. Hence I use 70 psi in the rear and 65 psi in the front.
The tech, apparently knowledgeable about RV's from the questions he asked, suggested strongly I should have rotated the tires, front and rear on a regular basis. Now, do I recall incorrectly that either or both LD and Ford say that only the front tires should be exchanged and NOT the rear tires? I get free rotation with my tire purchase so I want to do the right thing.

What say you,
