Once an avid Michelin Tire Cutomer... Now have to watch costs closel

As some of you previously read in one of my posts, I needed new tires on my 1994 LD midbath. I have always used Michelin tires on my vehicles until some years back, a girlfriend of mine suggested the cheapo tires 4 for $100 at PepBoys for my then Jeep Cherokee. I balked at the idea, but later gave in to it. Those tires were rated at 60,000 Miles and when I sold my Jeep, they had gone over that and still had respectable tread left on the tires.
I have thoroughly researched a Runway Tire for my 26.5' Midbath LD called Runway "Enduro H/T, 10 ply, Load rated "E" in a LT225/75R16. the installed price is just $744.65 for a set of 6 tires, That's installed, balanced, new stems, out the door. Now here comes the catch... They're made in China...
By GiTi Tires, gititire.com/us/. Turns out they are the among the top ten tire mfr's in the world and manufacture tires for all industries including the airlines, racing, heavy equipment, etc...
I priced out Michelin tires and they are over $1,100 for a set of 6.
China accounts for 20% of the worlds population so I can see why the company is among the top ten in the world... The dealer has told me the failure rate is comparable to that of any other name brand tire, even Michelin. Turns out, very few tires are even made in the USA anymore, including most of the top brands...
I know the old argument about buying american, and I'm the first to tell people that, yet a lot of us drive foreign cars, etc...
Thought some of us would want a reasonable alternative to the high cost of changing out 6 tires on our RV's.

Seems to me that I paid about $725 for 6 B. F. Goodrich Commercial T/A tires a couple of years ago plus another $110 for my Borg chrome valve stems.  I don't think that BFG manufactures in China?  I've been VERY pleased with the BFGs.
