HELP??? Removal of wiper arm to repaint?? On a 94 LD Ford Econoline

Can anyone tell me how to remove the wiper arms on a 1994 LD Ford Econoline RV?? I would like to paint the arms to spruce up my unit.
 I have removed wiper arms before but this one doesn't come off as others in the past have.
 Also, for those of us that want to repaint the satin black "Fake" windows on the front of our LD units, they have a great tape that makes a perfect paintline without any bleed through called FrogTape.

On my 93 there is a tab at the base of the arm facing driver and passenger.  You will pull this tab away from the arm, not up or down.  With the tab pulled away the arm should slide off.  When putting back on they will snap back
