Regional LD Clubs May 15, 2009, 04:37:23 pm Yahoo Message Number: 102334As the summer travel season starts, a lot of us will be going different places. Visiting with other Lazy Daze owners is always enjoyable. In April of last year, Message 91535, I suggested using the Calendar function on this site to list the regional events. Not much response, but not one to give up easily, I'll try again. Here is a repost of message 91535.The different regional Lazy Daze Clubs have GTG's/Campouts periodically around the country. As all of us travel here & there, it's always great fun to meet other LD owners at their GTG's. The difficult part is knowing when & where these regional GTG's are taking place. This Yahoo site has a Calendar section. If your regional club GTG's/campouts are open to all LD owners, perhaps someone from the club could post the information on the Calendar. That way it would be very easy to see what is happening where & when.I posted the October Southeast Club meeting plus Balloon Fiesta. The message posted just prior to this, by Rick, is looking for just this type of information.Ed & Carol. SE-1 Currently in Ohio enjoying the Great Lakes Caravan Club campout. Made 14 new Lazy Daze friends.

Interested LDers might want to contact whichever regional group(s) interest them, and find out what's happening when! ;-)Joan

I just feel that getting an invitation, if you will, to a regional campout, is better than simply inviting yourself to someones party and hoping you will be welcomed. Posting the event on the community calendar seems a quick & easy way of extending the invitation. My 2 cents. Rarely worth that much.Ed

It automatically sends an e-mail to remind members of upcoming events. The only problem so far is that "someone forgot" to change the event on our last outing!!!Lisa and Blue in windy/stormy Missouri
