Re: 1965 Lazy Daze Trailer Reply #4 – May 11, 2009, 12:43:47 pm Yahoo Message Number: 102261Through the years, LD has produced truck campers, trailers, Class As and the Class Cs. Years ago I noticed a LD travel trailer in the rear of the Factory yard. I asked Steve about and he told me it belonged to his sister. She would take it down to Newport (Newport Dunes?) every summer. The trailer in the link has no identifiable LD traits. The sticker on the front is no longer legible. It looks like a generic trailer of the time period and nothing like the one I saw at LD.Larry

Todd had answered the call and he didn't know so he asked me. Based on the appearance of the cabinets, components etc. it appears to be authentic. My Uncle originally built camper shells, campers and some trailers back in the 50's and 60's. However they gave up on trailers in the mid 60's (with the exception of the one they built for the Caravan Club in 1984) to develope their radical (back in those days) new design, the 16' Housecar which today has become the modern class C."

The trailer sure does not have many of the trademark design features that identify today's LD.Another thing to add to the forum files.Larry
