Lavatory sink drain replacement?
Yahoo Message Number: 99250
Has anyone replaced the 1 1/4" sink drain in the bathroom sink? I'm not having any luck finding a replacement.  Would this be an item to order from the factory?  1994, 22' model.  Thanks.

Yesterday I changed the "original" sink drain stopper/strainer in the bathroom sink in my  2000 26MB. It was severely corroded. At Lowes I found a Bar Sink Stopper/ Strainer for around $8.00 with the diameter as the original sink drain.
Good to know. About 20 minutes after reading TT's reply on finding the correct size replacement stopper, I tried to close our sink drain. It kept on turning and would not seal. I put on my eyeglasses and discovered what the screw on the stopper screws into is a metal insert that was no longer inserted. [Now in the tank]  If your sink stopper is still working, preserve it's life by not tightening any more than necessary.
We are parked across from a Lowe's doing laundry and deciding on a new drain or just a stopper. Being on the road, I am thinking a stopper.

Heading into the Keys in the morning.
