Returned back to Corpus Christi after a trip to Arizona and California.  Spend some time in Quartsite, AZ for the big RV show and camped out in the desert with my fellow LD buddy Jerry and several other California RV net friends of his, as well as a couple of our mutual friends.  I then went to Azusa, CA to have the Banks Performance Package put on my LD.  I am well pleased with the results. I can feel the extra power when I am pulling my toad, the Jeep. I am not real sure that my MPG was much improved, but then I did not really invest in that technology for better mileage.  While I was in California, I had Tim Pease of Extra Mile RV do a couple of things on my coach.  I never liked the large rear shade on the MB.  I had the original shade replaced last March at the Mothership because it bunched up when you tried to put it up.  The replacement lasted a couple of months before it started to do the same thing.  The 08 and 09 MB LD have a shade that retracts to the side and not the top.  So, I asked Tim to find one like the current LD shade and install it for me.  I also liked the reading lights that are now standard equipment on the 08 and 09 LD, so once again, I asked Tim to find some like them and put them on my coach.  Tim did a great job!  The modifications that he did look just like it came off the production line a the factory.  I highly recommend Tim for any similar projects that you may need or want to upgrade or change on your coach.
 So, now I have the Banks system and new lights and a new rear shade.
My next project, when I save up a few more dollars, is a leveling system.
