Lazy Daze Production? January 02, 2009, 05:27:25 pm Yahoo Message Number: 98323Anyone have any good information concerning the current level of sales/production for Lazy Daze? Perhaps been to the Mothership to pick up parts or have repair work done and talked to the staff? Perhaps recently placed an order? Are they selling many units? We have seen other higher quality RV manufactures experience real difficulty recently. BigFoot, NuWa, & Country Coach, come quickly to mind.1) The LD website still shows the prices for the 2008 model year. The 2009 Ford's have been available for some time now. Are they using up the 2008 models? Or just have not updated the site? 2) In the past, a great deal of the chatter on this group came from new buyers asking questions about options, or simply expressing their excitement. Don't recall hearing any such talk for quite some time.Is there anyone currently monitoring this Group who has a unit on order? About to place an order?Just wondering how they were doing. Well I hope.Ed

I think they may have some problems but that will be more from burn out than loss of business.Garry

On November 20, 2008 I picked up the 2009 factory literature (photos now and no text); and the specs, options, and price list. I scanned them and posted them on "Techsnoz"

There have been no entries since the end of July 2008! In the past, this was a pretty good method of tracking how long you might have to wait for your new LD. So please, if there are any of you out there who have taken delivery since last July or have an LD on order now, go to the database and input your info. Many Thanks,Ted H. No way to let them know until they open up again on the 5th; go figure.Joan

Just like everyone else sales are way down and they have the crew working part time. Delivery times may still take awhile because of that. I think Terry hit it by saying they don't need a lot to stay afloat because the place is run on cash and everything is paid for. Steve is smart and is just riding out the storm. Let's hope that isn't too long or too much for him to bear like so many other companies folding now. Tim EMRV
