Thanks for the link, Larry.  Do you folks in SoCal ever see any of the older late 60s early 70s LD motorhomes (like the ones in the home page photo) still driving around?  Considering how well they were built and that they lived in a mostly rust-free area, I would think there would be some vintage ones still alive.

You occasionally see one on the street. I see more of then sitting with tarps over them to protect what is left of the rotting roof.
Most LDs die painful deaths when not kept properly sealed; even here in mostly dry SoCal A good example is the early 70s LD that has been parked in our neighborhood for at least 15 years. Hidden under a nice blue tarp, the progressing damage is visible.
Moral of story, check your LD regularly for leaks. Water in the walls and ceiling are the enemy.

Larry Cool, rainy and very windy SoCal

We frequently see a '69 in the Lowe's parking lot in San Dimas, CA.
When approached the owner was gruff and unfriendly (how un-LazyDaze like is THAT!?!) but allowed it was a '69 when pressed. Not in great shape, we suspect he uses it for some sort of construction work.

Just this past Summer we were on our way to Big Bear Lake, in So Cal, when up ahead of us appeared an early 80's vintage LD. It was obviously well cared for and as we passed the driver waved an enthusiastic "hello". You could tell that he was a very happy and proud owner of a fine class C motorhome, an almost 30 year old motorhome that is! Steve
