Ours was mounted in a front left cabinet and I don't want to have to rewire through the radio. Are there any out there which fit the Sony plug--it appears to have some 16 contacts?

A retailer which can supply some brand of changer may have the needed adapter cable, or you may find it more cost efficient and convenient to simply replace the dash unit with another having in-dash 6-disk capability. Just an avenue to consider - I haven't done any research.Steve
