Hola Amigos! From Palenque, Chiapas

Hey Friends- I´m emailing from an internet cafe in the small town of Palenque, state of Chiapas in Southern Mexico.  Beautiful Mayan ruins and weather.  The howler monkeys in the trees by Mayabell campground sent chills up our spine- very cool.

 Heading off toward Jonna and Mimi´s hopefully within the week.  Jonna, once again I forgot to bring your email address to the internet cafe, but will attempt to call you when we get close.  I reread all your notes last night and they are incredibly helpful.  I do remember the Campeche border info for when we leave here- Thanks so much and can´t wait to see you!  Plan on going to Rainbow RV Park when we arrive and using taxis and buses to run around from there.

We´re off to enjoy some of the fabulous food and then take a dip in the jungle stream-filled pool.  Life is good in Mexico!

 I had lost your link again but now I've read all your entries and you are the bomb!! You guys are doing so well and I'm just really impressed with what good travelers you are.
 We are in Merida, we'll be in the RV park when you get here.  Can't wait to meet you.

Well, what's keeping you?  I've been telling you guys to come on down for years now.  I would so love to see you here and show you around our beloved Yucatan.    We haven't traveled at all this year, merely going the 4 hours back and forth from Akumal to Merida over and over.  Once the house is done (oh, will it ever be done?) we plan to make a run back to the US but I don't know when that will be.  It has now been 14 months since we've been in the US, guess we will have some reverse culture shock.
