The interior seems to be not the original, but an update perpetrated by somebody with design taste very different from your fiance's taste (and mine). Reassure her that slipcovers are very easy to do on the boxy LD sofas. Have you looked at the listings of LDs for sale in the Files section of this board?Joanne in Boston NE-441994 TK

Must be a Southern Cal red :-)My Fiance is a designer so she's actually excited to "de mauve" the interior and make it her own.I looked at the classifieds here, this one is less than half the price of the 26.5's

Even Lazy Daze in their weirdest upholstery decision moment never dreamed of such a gawd-awful interior color. It's a kindness to call it "mauve." Slip covers for the dinette are a piece of cake, while the back couches present more of a challenge simply due to their size, they can be slip covered as well. The driver and co-pilot seats, however, will require the tender administrations of a professional, I fear. Good luck with your new MB and welcome to the club, you will have many years of great fun in it, once you get rid of that inside color.Anne JohnsonLovely (lightening, thunder and pouring down rain) La Verne, CA
