I'm a wannabee and I'm going, pitching a tent in site #173.  I'll be coming in on Friday from four hours away in Dunedin (on the west coast, north of Clearwater).  If the campground will allow it, you're welcome to pitch your own tent on my site.  I'd have to imagine there would be room for two tents on one site.  My tent's billed as a five-man tent, but I'd have to know those five men pretty darn well...

Absolutely.
You can tent camp at Hanna Park or rent one of their unfurnished camping cabins, stay at a motel, or come for the day. Whatever works best for you.

Yay!

I may take you up on it--I'll check to see if there's any sort of maximun tents per spot there.  My tent is a three-man tent, which in my case is about the right size for one woman--crikey, who do they measure for these sizes, Liliputians?
 I'm coming from Panama City Beach--it's about a five hour drive, not counting the time change.  Should be fun!

This wannabee just reserved a cabin today which is actually just an enclosed space with electricity but I haven't tent camped in a long while and want to be in the park.  I have been a wannabee for several years and have only seen one live LD in my life.  I am looking forward to seeing others and their owners of course.  Nancy in Atlanta
