Pulling a fuse on 2005 Honda CRV

My manual advises pulling a fuse to tow, but I am having trouble pulling it out. I don't want to force it until I get a spare fuse, in case I break it. Does it pull straight out? Is there a latch that releases it?

Mike,

Not owning any Hondas or towing, I was hesitating answering your question.  But given that no one else has chimed in, I'll give it a shot.
If the Honda CRV fuses are the standard auto fuses, i.e. like the ones in the LD, they pull straight out.  If they are particularly difficult to grasp, you might invest in a "fuse puller".  The fuser puller might be one like this:

I'm sure any auto supply place like Auto Zone will have one.
The other thing I have read is that on the CRV, if you will be towing it for days w/o using it, you might need to pull a second fuse.  It is the one for the radio which draws some power even when it's off.  If the radio has a security code for theft deterrence, you'll need to reset it when you put the fuse back in.

See you at Hanna Park next month!

Do a search and you'll come up with lots of info.

JMHO, but doing additional research to verify or refute the accuracy of the experiences, testimonials, and advice given by posters on RV.net (on *any* topic and/or *any* message board) is always a good idea.
YMMV.
