Olympia Heater: Advice Needed

Hi all.
I've decided I need to install a Wave 3 heater in my 2002 26.5' RK. My question is for you who have done this: where in the RK did you install it?
Also, I have not talked to my roving RV tech yet to talk prices, but I saw the Wave 3 at $230 (plus shipping, but no CA sales tax), price good till the end of January. Does this sound good? file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Jeanne/Desktop/rv-furnaces-suburban-atwood-parts-1.htm

(I hope that link works; I can't find my tinyurl thing.)

Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

Jeanne

((Snip- I've decided I need to install a Wave 3 heater in my 2002 26.5' RK. ))

I installed one by tapping into the gas line under the refrigerator and because it ws free standing could turn it whichever way to direct the heat where I wanted it.  I kept it in an outside compartment when not in use.
I had a large older model and it was so powerful it was too much even on low.  I sold it after one season.  The good news is that I have the low amp draw furnace in my 05 RK and don't really need anything else.

Jeanne, Amazon has it for $196 shipped, no tax.

Andrew,
Thank you so much for that information. I can't believe I didn't check Amazon--I buy LOTS of stuff there. I owe you (home-made cookies, bottle of wine? You choose and I'll deliver).
And a big thanks to all of you who gave me ideas about where and how to install this heater

Jeanne (Really really hoping to not spend any more winters where the night-time temps go below 40 degrees F.)
Agreed. If the temperature is less than my age it's too dammed cold.

Good point, Ed. So I guess I need to work on "below" 60 degrees? (I see me going further and further south into Mexico!) Okay, forget that heater!

Glad to be of help, Jeanne.  Thanks for the offer, but I'm allergic to alcohol and I've severely reduced my cookie intake since a heart attack a couple of years ago.  If we ever meet on the road I'll take you up on a cookie or two...can't resist homemade cookies! :-)
