Hello everyone!
We are still looking for a manual for our 89 26 MB LD. If anyone has the same model, we would gladly reimburse you for expenses for a copy.
we do have manuals for all appliances, generator, ect. so just need the LD manual.
Do enjoy reading all posts and learning as we go- Has anyone put acess doors on the slide out dinnet booth seats to make it eaiser to get into without always having to pull the seats out? AT least with our older model. Thanks in advance for any advice and help.

Why not call the factory. I think that for a fee they will supply you with one. If they didn't copyright them I would think that we would have already placed pdf file copies in our group files for everyone's convience.

LD considers their manuals highly proprietary documents containing trade secrets, and will NEVER release them in pdf form.  SteveN's words to me when I asked him about getting a pdf copy of my '06 manual for my laptop.
Just one of their odd ways of doing business...  Hey, they don't take credit cards either.

Dave, What I meant is that I believe that you can purchase a hard copy of older manuals from them. I did get the feeling that they were holding their books close to their chests.  I think that they would look more professional to post the pdf file for each year on their website.  They could imbed them with the grayshade overwrite with their name so they get credit for the work and cannot be used by another manufacturer, thereby they look like the modern motorhome producer.

On a sidenote, I purchased a Fijitsu Scanner w/Adobe Acrobat pdf creator after reading an add in Macworld.  I have been trying to get a hold onto my piles of papers and book.  I first sort through to deceide what I really need, then toss the junk items. Then I create PDF's from anything that is left. I even scan books! I cut off the bindings, run them through the scanner at 36 pages a minute, and then toss the hard copy now that I have a pdf on my computer.  It is sure shrinking the size of my piles and the bookshelfs I have. If I run the pdf through the OCR program I am then able to search an entire document for a word or two.

My next step is to become familiar witht the encryption process so that I can do the same with the volumes I have from my government consulting of restricted and secret work, and then shred the originals.

I am very satisfied with my limited use of the program and I will b happy to learn how to use some of the additional features.
