Goodbye to everyone and a HUGE THANK YOU!!

Just a note to tell everyone on these boards how much we have appreciated being "part of the family".  We appreciate the time you took to answer our questions and help us along the way.  And while we did not chat a lot, you were always there when we had a question.

Two years ago, you welcomed us with open arms and great advice.
We loved our "Little Darling", but today, she has gone to another home.

Our youngest son has autism and (for now) RVing just isn't for him.
So we sold our "Little Darling" to a wonderful retired gentleman who we know will give her a great home.

She is a fabulous unit.  Of that there is not doubt.  And we spent several wonderful weeks re-living the "RV" adventures of our youth.
Both hubby and I grew up with parents who loved RVing.  My parents had a Class A and his parents had a CabOver Camper.
But our son's panic attacks around insects would not allow him to go outside the motorhome and just sit and relax.  We had a lovely spot at the KOA in Cherokee last August (right on the babbling brook) but he would not leave the motorhome because of the insects.

And his panic attacks with the weather just did not work well either.  Unfortunately, we had a bad storm come pretty close to us (all we got was rain and a little wind) in San Antonio last summer and it was very difficult for him to handle in an RV.

He is 16 years old now and we are working on these issues. Perhaps one day he will overcome these two obstacles.

It was sad to see her go.

Thanks again for everything....may God bless your travels and your lives!

Linda and David (I believe), what a nice message to the group.  We all wish you well with your son and hope to have you back in the FOLD some time in the future.

Dear "fyrsdwplhp" (surly that isn't really your name!)

So little we appreciate the uncomplicated use of our LD. Without a thought, we take ourselves anywhere under any circumstances, park by the sea or a mountain brook and enjoy the weather, no matter what it is. The little bugie-bugs only adding to the ambiance.

God Bless you and your son. Your situation surely brought home how fortunate my husband and I are. If wishing could hurry the day he has overcome his obstacles, we are wishing awfully hard. And praying you will come back into "the fold" soon, very soon.

Yes, that is us!!
We hope to be back in the fold one day.  One thing that our son "LOVED" was his "crow's nest". He is going to miss that.
We look forward to seeing you on the highways and knowing that "our RV heart" is still in love with Lazy Daze!!!
