A/C cover FYI January 06, 2008, 03:59:07 pm Yahoo Message Number: 87963Lost my A/C cover to the high winds of California last weekend. I presume that when I last installed it in the Yukon I either didn't get the screws tight enough or should have used locktite. The front two screws were missing, presumably loosened in the buffetting wind. It is a pain to install the foam baffleing on a new cover so those of you that still have your covers (Dometic Penquin 13,500 BTU) give them a check. The attaching screws are special #10 sheet metal screws with a large head and a shoulder. I have been unable to replace the original screws and have had to use a hardware store variety with a large washer and no shoulder. Anyone know where to get original screws? Camping World doesn't carry them even though they have the replacement cover. Harry

They have all kinds of screws. An alternative would be to contact the factory and have them send you the proper screws. Good Luck.Jakester
