Ideas, Advice or Warnings, Please December 10, 2007, 08:47:44 pm Yahoo Message Number: 87021We've moving to a new location in a couple of days and from what I've been able to ascertain (and that includes trying to get a better spot), the site we've been assigned has hookups that put us heading in; that means the refrigerator wall will be in strong afternoon Florida sun. As the winter progresses and the sun stays higher in the sky longer, this will be more and more of an issue.I'd like to fashion a sail that would give that part of the kitchen wall some shade...the question is...any ideas on how to fix it to the roof...sans drilling holes (and includes punching and nailing)...if this group has already thrashed this one to death, point me in the direction of the post #s, please. To forestall the suggestion, we cannot leave FL at this time as family health issues require our presence.TIATina P 2006 MB "Wild Thing"

ice Reply #3 – December 11, 2007, 06:01:12 pm Yahoo Message Number: 87059Just to keep everyone in the right frame of mind, our 97 RB is sitting under a very sturdy bur oak in my driveway that is covered by nearly an inch of solid ice. I believe in that bur oak. But, I'd rather believe in it with a temperature above 32 instead of at 26 and falling with a wind coming up!YMMV, Chuck and Carla Myers

Is there anyway to pull the LD out from under it? In fact we had a neighbor here in SLC with one of those huge globe willows and our 10" of heavy snow took out about 1/2 of it on Saturday. It hit his van and did some damage.
