We will be visiting Sierra Vista over Christmas.  Any suggestions for what to put on our 'must see' list?

 Kartchner Caverns - http://www.pr.state.az.us/Parks/parkhtml/kartchner.html Bisbee - http://bisbeearizona.com/content/ Ramsey Canyon - http://tinyurl.com/2uc8p8 Tombstone - http://www.cityoftombstone.com/ Rex Allen Cowboy Museum in Willcox - http://www.rexallenmuseum.org/ Stout's Cider Mill in Willcox - http://www.cidermill.com/ Chiricahua National Monument - http://www.nps.gov/chir/
The above is just a start.  Some of them may be a bit far for you, depending on how much time you'll be spending in Sierra Vista.  Be prepared for cold weather at night time.  We're currently in Willcox and there was frost on the ground this morning when we got up.

We enjoyed people watching in Bisbee. Some of the stores, including the Bank of America are museum like. There are several decent places to eat there.
We enjoyed camping and hiking both Cochise Stronghold and Chiricahua.
I suspect the altitude of the latter would be a bit much for this time of year.

Tombstone is popular, but not to our taste,

We had planned to hike in Ramsey Canyon, but thought $7 a person to hike yet another canyon was over-the-top.

Kartcher Caverns was reported by our friends to be worthwhile.

Although the website states that reservations for the cave tours are "strongly recommended", IMO, they're essential, especially if one wants a tour on a weekend or during a holiday season when kids are out of school. Avoid disappointment and make reservations!

The Fort Huachuca Military Intelligence museum is quite interesting--lots of spy stuff there!
