Delivery Date notification? December 04, 2007, 02:23:44 pm Yahoo Message Number: 86738Hi - we ordered our 26.5 MB in late September (9/21) and were given a January 2008 estimated delivery. When can I expect to learn the actual delivery date of our unit? Will they send us an email & how far in advance? When does a chassis usually go on the production line (how long does it take to build an LD)? I'd love to go up to the factory and see our new MB in production and was hoping to do this in late Dec or early Jan. Are they usually OK with that?Tanya in San Diego

Are they usually OK with that?Tanya in San Diego Tanya - we took delivery on the 21st of September - interesting. We ordered on May 5 and they had the check on the 7th. On June 19th I asked (via e-mail) what the status was and on the 19th I got the "it will go on line in about three weeks" answer. On July 30th I got an update (after asking via e-mail) and was told that is was in progress and on schedule for a September delivery. On August 24th I got a confirmation letter via e-mail from Vicki of the delivery date (Friday, September 21) and a list of store items. We arrived at 8:30 AM on the 21st of Septrember and left there about 1 pm with the coach. So from check to delivery it was 137 days or just about 4.5 months. Your January delivery looks to be a bit quicker. I found that sending an e-mail usually gets a response within 3 or 4 days. It's easy to do it that way but I suppose a phone call would work too.andy 2007 23.5FD Red Baron

Vickie will be calling to set up a pick up date for us. This is a month earlier than quoted (Jan 08) and way earlier than I really expected. Is this a first?
