Ciao Baby’s toilet seal - suddenly working!

Ciao Baby's toilet seal has never worked since we bought her in May.
It never held any water at all (seeped down quickly) until Thanksgiving weekend, when it appeared to work like a charm.  I guess that cold weather helped out the seal?

I wonder - will it still work when it gets hot again?
