Minor Windshield Leak

Hello.
We purchased a '05 midbath new.  It is truly a great motorhome.  I went to the mothership last year to get my few warranty items repaired.  One of the items: If it rained while driving, we had a little water coming in from the front top of the windshield.  Lazy Daze told me that was a FORD warranty item. So, they didn't repair it.
After I got back to Texas, I called Ford.  They say it is a manufacturers repair issue.  To me, it seems more likely that Lazy Daze should have corrected the matter.  Anyone have any experience with windshield leaks or thoughts on this matter?

Thank You, John Comunelli '05 mb Arlington Texas

My immediate thought is that you're being given the runaround...what part of the windshield does LD manufacture?  I guess I'd double check with Steve at LD to determine what if anything does LD "do" to the windshield...if nothing, then you need to start to press Ford...find out where LD buys its Fords and maybe start there.

I doubt Ford will ever repair a window leak when Lazy Dazy hacked the cab in half!!!!!

Actually, Ford does the "hacking": http://tinyurl.com/drsj3

LD does make extensive modifications to the roof of the cab, however.
I can see why Ford might balk at repairing a leak near an area that is under some stress from the cabover structure.
