Levelers-up or down?

After winterizing your rv do you store it with the levelers up or down? My husband does take the rv out every three weeks (during the cold, "unusable" months)for a good run, but other than that it will sit until March.

Thanks, Kathy

Kathy,
I don't know what type of levelers you have, and we don't winterize, but when we store the LD for the summer, we:
1. Spray the Bigfoot leveler hydraulic rams with silicon spray.
2. Store with levelers up to avoid possible rust on the rams.

Barry,
I'm not sure what kind of levelers we have either (I need to go home and look), but I never thought of rust as an issue-thanks for the input.

Yonder has HWH "kick down" levelers. I always store the motorhome with the levelers down - - takes weight of the suspension and rubber, makes me feel good.
The rams are chrome plated and will should not normally rust. If stored in a damp, salt environment, I'd spray them with silicone spray, ACF-50 etc
