Dear Mr. Attwood, Your wonderful Attwood water heater is acting up again and I'm mystified.
Scene one: The green indicator and red indicator lights both light up; no fire.
I removed and sprayed each connection with contact cleaner and protectant then reattached them. Success, fire in the hole. The heater cycles through and shuts off when hot enough. But instead of just the green indicator light staying on, both the red and green lights are lit.
(sometimes the red indicator light seems dim) I haven't waited around to see if when the water cools down if the water heater will fire up in this mode. Any speculation or conspiracy theories on this matter would be appreciated.
