Factory Parts - Pricing
Yahoo Message Number: 85652
Hey Friends,
I got some prices with the Mothership for parts and thought some of you may be interested.  The first part is what I ended up ordering.
Remember that you have to mail in a check, but they were fast shipping.

Hope it helps,

Tessa in TX (see below)

'92 MB - Ciao Baby!

Table leg with bracket for dinette table:  $10

Silver grate in Hot Water Heater door:  $10

Clearance lights:  4 round orange clearance lights for top front of rig.
$6.50 each x 4 = $26

Clearance Light bulb replacements:  $.75 x 5 = $ 3.75

Screen clips for windows:  20 needed at $.50 each = $10 (2 at top and 2 at bottom for each window)

Cabinet catch:  for cabinet under dinette seat (roller balls catch metal triangle): $.75 x 2 = $1.50

Total for products:  $61.25

Total shipping: $11.05

Total handling: $  3.50

Total amount due: $75.80

Here are additional items I may buy later:

1. Shower shroud- complete skylight dome replacement ($95)

1. Manual Door Step:  $125

1. Window blinds:  $214 for set (every window except entry door and  that one is $15 additional for the roll down shade)

1. Kitchen ceiling light fixture- in center of kitchen and on door  switch does not work (tried new bulbs and the switch at door).  Need  replacement light fixture.  ($35 for thin-line)

1. Bathroom Fantastic Fan:  $110 for single-direction

1.   Gauge on Propane Tank:  stopped working.  (Replacement gauge  cost? $45, not returnable.   Check to make sure it is the 2-screws mount  one before ordering.)

1.  Extra grey water tank:  (Can send a blank one for $200 (not sure  what "blank" means))

1.   Bubble step pad:  $30

1.   Rig Air Condition filters?  I have a penguin 13,500 unit.  Need  2 filters (on the little plastic piece).  ($10 each)

1.  Awning end cap:  (No)

1.   My swamp cooler is in dismal shape and I'm afraid to turn it  on with wires poking out and dust.  Should I just replace with another  reverse-direction fantastic fan?  (Yes.  $155 for both directions  airflow FF)

1.   Dinette extra cushions:  the extra cushions that are used when  both dinette sides are pulled out (both sides slide out on the '92)  are gone.  I have the solid blue material.  Can I get replacement  cushions to match?  (The fabric is no longer available, but check with  Butterfield's for extra cushions:  909-982-6770)

1.   Cabinet catch:  On the cabinet under the dinette seats, the  roller balls catch the triangle of metal.  It doesn't hold closed  and I cannot seem to bend it.  ($.75 each)

1.   Heat Strip:  My Penguin 13,500 roof air conditioner does not  have a 5,000 BTU heat strip.  Can I buy one to add?  ($75)

1.   Exterior Amber Porch light:  Should I replace my white light  with this?  Does an amber light keep bugs away? (All rigs came with  amber light.  $5 each.)

1.   Outside shower:  Is it possible for me to have this added?  (No.)

1.   Propane tank:  What is the size on my rig?  Is it possible to  replace with a 17 gallon one?  (10 gallons. No.)

1.   Recessed fluorescent light fixtures – can I buy these to add  myself?  ($50 each)

1.   Fuel tank:  I would like to consider a larger fuel tank.  Can I
replace current tank with a larger one or add an auxiliary one? (Probably not.)

Do you ever sleep?

1.  Extra grey water tank:  (Can send a blank one for $200 (not  sure what "blank" means))

Blank usually means that it does not have the fittings installed.
You would need to have the outlets installed locally at an RV shop.

Install a Fantastic Fan

Heat strip does not add a lot of heat, a portable heater works  better.

Could possibly be done but what a pain. I have a sprayer for  washing our feet at the beach.

Probably would not fit. You could carry a 5-gallon can, the  type used for BBQs and then get an Extend A Stay .

Transferflow is on of the biggest tanks companies. Check their site.
You may be able to find a local fabricator that builds tanks. It's going to be expensive.

I am guessing here, but I imagine in this case, blank = black
