Sticky stuff??? May 20, 2006, 02:50:26 am Yahoo Message Number: 66903A while back someone mentioned a product that they use in gallerys and muesums to hold fragile of breakable pieces down. I would like to find out what the name of this "sticky stuff" is. We will be picking up our new baby next week and I think I might need to "snug" some things that we leave of the counters, ie. paper cup holder, toothbrush holder, etc. Also, is there an extra 12 volt plug by the TV in the 26 1/2 MB? ( One that is not already being used by the TV). Thanks in advance, Shirley in Woodland, WA

There's a hole through the cupboard wall so you can route a plug and wire through from the shelves behind the TV. What they *don't* put there is an AC outlet, and that would be handy if you ever add a "whole house" inverter and want to power TV accessories like a sat receiver that need AC.bumper

Just a FYI...if the stuff is used on a plastic surface, it can leave a slightly oily residue and cause a faint discoloration on the plastic. I also found that it doesn't stick reliably on a wet surface, i.e., the bathroom sink, if one has the "sink in the shower" 23.5' TK. YMMV.Joan

Dunno what they use, but I and many RVers use DAP Fun-Tak reusable adhesive putty (http://tinyurl.com/eqxl9>) or one of its many imitators. It's available at hardware and stationery stores, Wal-Mart, you name it. It's versatile, has good holding power and is easily removable and reusable (unlike double-sided foam tape, which is very difficult to remove cleanly once you have it in place).Andy Baird Tijeras, NM
