What are you trying to do and what type of 1/4" line will you be using? 1/4" line in not standard in RVs so you need to adapt your new line to the 1/2" PEX tubing.Sounds like you will spending a Saturday morning at Lowes or HD, picking through the millions of small tubing pieces, trying to find the perfect combination. I have made a lot of oddball fittings by silver soldering or gluing non-matching pieces together. You may find a small reducer or tee that would work with the PEX and the new tubing, connected with hose clamps. Be warned, PEX does not like this type of connection, it can blow apart so use two or three clamps on each side of the fitting just for good measure. Normally, PEX uses a compression fitting. I would try to find a solution that uses this method. The Factory uses brass crimp rings to secure PEX (requiring an expensive crimper) but screw on fittings are available for aftermarket use. Google PEX tubing to start you search, there are a lot of available fittings.Larry

LD uses plastic tubing forthe water supply going to the refrigerators ice cube maker, and I'm going to re-route this to supply water to the evaporative cooler I'minstalling this month. Both of them have 1/4 inch plastic tubing.JC
