New safety check- Converter fan
Yahoo Message Number: 66432
The electrical converter on our 2003 23.5' FL is located under the drawers in the kitchen.
While doing some electrical work today, I discovered that the Converter's cooling fan inlet was blocked by a dish sponge and a hot pad. They evidently had fallen over the rear of the linen storage drawer.
You may need to remove an access cover to view the rear of the Converter in your LD.
In retrospect, I had noticed the cooling fan cycling a little more often than normal. A blocked cooling fan could cause the Converter to overheat.
You might want to take a look at yours. Check the inlet's screen, our needed vacuuming.
