Sue Merritt, Anchorage, AK, and I visited the LD factory-showroom and talked to Ed Newell earlier this month on March 16 and he said that the "LD Caravan takes only 1st-time LD owners because LD-company sponsors the Caravan". [i.e. Sponsors--provide monetary support (and money talks). He cited 2-related examples]. LD-mothership actually has the "First owner (read bought new LD from factory---where else?] policy" requirement for the LD Caravan group.
