Beds on mid-bath model October 07, 2005, 06:03:33 pm Yahoo Message Number: 58756Photos of late model mid bath LD show two rear sofa/beds which appear soft and bolstered. I like a flat hard surface for sleeping and suspect that I would find the beds in this model uncomfortable. I'd appreciate any feedback on my assumption and if anyone has found a way to firm and flatten these cushions. Thanks,

I found the rear sofas to be more comfortable than my new Sealy mattress at home. We did try turning the cushions over for the "firmer" side, but did not like it as well. We use a large, unzipped sleeping bag for a pad, with a sheet on it, and it works fine. We don't find the set up and take down, to be too time comsuming or problematic. I am sure you will find it comfortable.Chris Hunter

I find the cushions to be *very* firm...in fact, too firm for me to sleep comfortably, so I have a 2" memory foam mattress pad to sleep on that I bought from Costco. I don't feel the *ridges* in the couch like you think you would from looking at them.Linda Hylton2004 Red 23.5' TK From 20 Miles Beachon Walker Lake in Nevada See where we are: http://map.datastormusers.com/user2.cfm?user=1167

We use the in the camper and you can make then as firf or soft as you wish. The advantage is they roll up flat for storage and are self inflating.REI is a good place to check them out.Chris
